  1. Many local tackle shops will carry the handle and the screws — Shimano is a major brand so it shouldn’t be too hard to find a place nearby (Call them up and ask if they have Shimano parts).

Or you can look on the web. The Shimano site has schematic diagrams at http://fish.shimano.com/publish/content/global_fish/en/us/index/customer_service0/Reel_Schematics.html , and I assume they have a place to order the parts, too… well, they do it by phone or snail mail, but not online:

How do I order parts for my Shimano reel?

Parts can be ordered directly from Shimano or a Shimano Authorized Warranty Center either by phone or by mail. Shimano American Corporation customer service can be contacted Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Standard Time at 1-877-577-0600, to help expedite your phone order please have your part numbers available when calling.

Parts request by mail can be sent to:
    Shimano American Corporation
    One Holland Drive
    Irvine, CA 92618
    Attention: Customer Service

I just did a little search and found a place called Mike’s Reel Repair http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/ which has online schematics so you can figure out the part number(s) you need, and then order them online. Of course, you need the reel model number to make sure you get the right part.

But if you can get it done at a local shop, you’ll save the shipping fees, and be sure you have the right part when you leave the store.
