I have a fishin lure that says “dont store in pvc tackle, store separ.” wht kind of tackle/storage tote do I us?

I have a wide collection of fishing lures and I store them all in tackle boxes or storage totes. I have 10 to 20 different lures that the box says dont store in pvc plastic because the lure will melt. Can anyone please please tell me what to use for organized storage.

  1. plastic worms will react with certain types of plastic boxes.
you need to get some that say “plastic worm proof” on the box or the packaging.
or just leave them in their plastic bags.

  2. Well you could use that new fan-geld material ER now whats it call Er Its on the tip of my tongue Er AH YES WOODEN BOX!

  3. Yeah I think Enuf is right, are you talking about soft plastics?

My plano tackle box says on the description NOT to put in soft plastics directly in the box, either leave em in packaging or put them in a seperate box (hah, luckily I have one of those “worm proof” boxes, and a back up in the closet. they fit in the bottom of the box well and keep my 3 swimbaits and some rigged and some unrigged soft plastics… Well and one slot has all my bobbers I hate the sound of bobbers rolling around so I put em in there too) saves alot of space! and it’s like having 4 trays instead of 3. anyway it says they can severly “warp” or melt the box plastic. I found this out after like 3 days of having the worms sit there in the box itself (damn I’m an idiot) but that was a while ago.. Nothing happened but thats cause it wasent in contact for more than a few days.

    Anyway hope this helps!
