All you anglers out there ! What is a good reel to start fishing with for general coarse fishing?

Im thinking about starting fishing again and would like some help choosing a decent reel ! Not too expensive but not cheap either a good all rounder and would appreciate some help from anglers. Ive got a decent waggler rod to go with it .

I am looking for a new fishing rod and reel combo that is good but cheap. I want to get a bait caster because I already have 2 spinners. I want it to be around 50$. I found a great deal on one online at a cabelas store that was great and was only 30$ but shipping and handling was like another 16$. THANK YOU

What would be a good fishing rod?

I am looking for a fairly cheap rod, close to $100, and want to be able to pull in up to a 70 lb fish.
ok, so it sounds like the ugly stick is definitely what i want, so now could someone please help figure out which one. like a link or something to a website with a good choice would be super-cool!
By the way, i would generally use live bait.

Where is a good isolated place in the mountains to go fly fishing around Christmas?

It could be anywhere in the United States. I want to get out of NYC and into the wild and catch some trout. So where in America would be good for trout fly fishing this time of year? Is there good trout fishing in Colorado this time of year? I am new to this. I like camping in the Adirondacks but are there trout in early January? I like being were you don’t see another person. Thanks for the help. Hopefully this is less vague.
