What is the most reliable salt water reel for under $70?

My previous reel broke down even though I washed it etc., so I’m looking for a super reliable salt water reel for under $70 – I’m broke :(. Anyway, I would like it to be able to hold 200m (218y) of 6.8kg (15lb) test monofilament (0.45mm diameter). It needs to be able to cope with tiny whiting up to like 15kg snappers and barramundi etc. So yeah! Reliable, easy to clean, large spool size. Also spinning reel. Saltwater. Thanks in advance!

Are there fishing rods that can be used for both fresh and salt water?

I am new to fishing and am planning on going a couple times with some friends. Some may be freshwater everglades and others could be off a pier. It would be nice if I could get a rod that can be used for both. However, I don’t know rod and reel brands whatsoever. I’m a college student so It would be nice if the rod and reel didn’t exceed $60-70 total.

Salt has gotten into my fishing reel. How do I get it out?

My cousin borrowed my rod for the summer when I went to California for a program. When I came back I had found that he had been fishing in the surf with it but had not properly washed it and soaked it in water after every trip. Now the reel won’t turn when I try. Is there something I can do to fix it or is it a total loss?

It is a spinning reel.
I have tried soaking it but it didn’t work. If I were to disassemble it, how would the process to clean it?

How do you rig a salt water fishing rod and reel?

I have a salt water rod and reel I need to rig but can’t figure out how to do it. The spool that the line is on does not rotate when the reel is turned which would make it impossible to reel back in once cast out. I need to know what the line attaches to so that it can be wound back up hopefully if I ever get a fish on the line.

How to catch trout in the Salt River without fly fishing?

My father and I are going fishing at the Salt River here in Arizona. We don’t fly fish, and would like to know how, and where to go to catch some trout? Also, will the water be moving to fast for a bobber? Or even fishing off the bottom? Thanks so much, any info will really help!
