winter largemouth bass fishing !?

Can somebody give me some tips ? Me and a friend of mine decided to enter a tournament this fall . We have cought a few but…. The last couple of tourneys we’ve been skunked . We’ve been seeing the fish on the finder but can’t get them to bite . We have tried every thing in our boxes – jigs, grubs, worms, dropshot with 3” worms, spoons every type of crank you can think of and still, no bite !The water is cold about 35 F. , The fish are about 20-30 ft. Other people have been bringing them in though . THANKS
Cant use live bait in tourney .

What would be the best lure to go with for winter largemouth bass fishing in eastern long island?

I know deeper waters and slower retrieve…but its still tempting to use my old standby a light colored jitterbug. Is it pointless to use a top floating jig in the winter? I fished a rattletrap and jig & pig at Ronkonkoma for six hours yesterday with nary a bite. Has anyone fished the Northwestern side(opposite of the falls) of Southard’s with any success? Whats the best overall advice for today’s trip? Thanks!!!

How do you find crappie in late winter.?

I am an avid fisherman and regularly catch all species of fish both fresh and saltwater. It is early Februrary and catching fish now is very difficult.Typically I find crappie here in Mississippi in November bunched up in deep water with my electronics and load the boat. This goes on through December but by January they seem to dissapear.I covered the entire lake yesterday with trolling motor pulling jigs at all depths and did,nt even get one single bump or notice hardly any arches on my fishfinder.I,m thinking thier in some kind of transition phase but my electronics are telling me thier not there.Do they bury up in the mud or hide under the hydrilla or what.I dont know. Please help me unlock this mystery or I going to have to take up hunting.
